Cut Teeth delivers on demand community management for companies in the games industry
It’s not always necessary or possible to hire a full time Community Manager. Nonetheless, community management is essential to growing, engaging, and maintaining your audience.
Cut Teeth is here to step in and handle the moments in your project where you most require community management expertise and support. Cut Teeth is micro-sized, ran by Community Manager Charis Reid, and specialised in community management, offering flexibility to suit your timeline and budget.
“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”

Puddle
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT OFFICER
Puddle has trained in the art of getting attention since she was 10 weeks old. As a kitten she did many assassins creed style take downs on her siblings, which did get her attention, but not the treats she desired.
Since then, she has come to realise that snuggling humans and giving them attention is much more rewarding, (with treats that is.)

Rollo
PAWFECTIONIST
Rollo is the editor in chief of the Cut Teeth mailing list. He just learned about emails last week and has figured out that more sign ups mean more treats. He’s now taking his duty very seriously.
He loves a good perch, watching seagulls fly by and colourful springs.

It isn’t, we are specialised in ad hoc community management, meaning that if and when you need community management support (more on our services here) you can hire Cut Teeth to fit your timeline and budget.
Marketing agencies offer a range of services Cut Teeth does not like PR, Influencer Relations, Advertising and Branding. Here’s a few I can recommend: YRS TRULY, Secret Sauce, Disobey, Neon Hive and Renaissance PR.

There’s an idiom ‘cut ones teeth’ which dates from the 1600’s. It originated to describe babies ‘cutting their teeth’ through their gums. Nowadays, it’s used to refer to gaining experience and is often used to describe how you first ‘cut your teeth’ in an area of work.
I first cut my teeth in the games industry by working in community management, which is apt. Now that I’ve started my own company, I’m cutting my teeth in business by using those same community management skills.
